Vision Boards

Post placeholder image

Has anyone out there created a vision board? I am in the middle of reading The Answer: Grow Any Business, Achieve Financial Freedom, and Live an Extraordinary Life by John Assaraf & Murray Smith and they advocate creating a vision board as they “are an especially powerful tool for imprinting your aspirations on your nonconscious brain.” Considering that I am in a transition period, personally and professionally, thinking that this tool along with the others they advocate just might be the sort of new age thing to help me step up my game so was curious about other people’s experience.

I’ve never made a vision board, but I have a scrapbook with some vision pages on it. I haven’t used it in a while, but now that I’m starting a new phase in my life, I’ve been looking back at old pages, and creating new ones. It is really inspirational and always puts me in a better frame of mind, reminds me that there’s somewhere I want to be and that I need to work on getting there. I have some pages that remind me of the little things I need to do (breathe, love, laugh, smile) or qualities to cultivate (inspiration, generosity, kindness, boldness) right in the here and now.
I am considering creating a vision board also, just so I have something that it easily visible to me at all times.
