Testing! Testing!

Testing! Testing! Testing! Hmmm. I guess this thing still works. In any event, I am here trying desperately to get everything together for my big move. What big move you ask? Well let’s just say that I’ll be leaving Chicago soon. I’ll miss all the friends I’ve made these last 10 years, but I’m ready to experience a new city. I had imagined I would be making the move with someone special, but alas I am going alone. Having said that, I am extremely excited about this new adventure. Hell, I can’t believe I’m being such a risk taker. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Details on this new adventure will be soon forthcoming. In the meantime, back to organizing I go.

Ursula,
Had a look at YOUR site this morning, and I’ve bookmarked it to come back from time to time! Will be really nice to read about the adventures of others over here! GOOD LUCK with your move!

I wondered where you’ve been. I’ve moved lock-stock-and-barrel alone before, it’s scary but you’re forced to make new friends and do things you wouldn’t typically do.
Best of luck to you, I know you’ll keep us informed!

I am probably on my way too, off to Boston, MA..
You were part of the inspiration for that. When you said in your mail that every 10 years you shake up your life, I thought… I’ve never done that! Not made major changes, just lots of small ones. 3 months later and here I am just waiting to discuss the compensation package and I think I’ll be in Boston by June…
Thanks Ursula.
I know you’re going to love your new town..
