Sochi Winter Olympics Empty Seats

Having watched hours and hours of coverage for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, what is abundantly clear is that the International Olympic Committee has yet to figure out how to ensure that all the events, including preliminary ones are well attended. This is most disappointing considering the outcry from the London 2012 Summer Olympics. It’s just inadequate for the athletes as well as fans within the stadiums and those watching around the globe. Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics

The start of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics has me feeling nostalgic for my participation in the London 2012 Summer Olympics & Paralympics Games. IMDb Profile

The riches from being a London 2012 Ceremonies Volunteer Performer continue. What now exactly? Well with my acting (I use this term loosely) in all four ceremonies, I’ve managed to secure a profile in the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). So excited I am by this development that I took a snapshot just in case they decide I’m really just an imposter! I mean, this is a database for up and coming as well as accomplished actors and actresses. I don’t fit in either category. But hey, its good to have this as proof for future generations that I was there […]

Three Months On

Its now been three months since the Opening Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Thus, thought I’d share an extended version of article that appeared in the Bromley Times mid October. It’s my first person account of how I came to be involved with the greatest Olympic Games ever! **** Bromley resident recounts her experience as London 2012 Ceremonies Volunteer Performer By Ursula Petula Barzey With each passing day, Britain’s golden summer becomes a distant memory to most but my treasure chest brimming with souvenirs from my time as a London 2012 Ceremonies Volunteer Performer will ensure that the […]
