Run Jerry Run

Post placeholder image

Jerry Springer is considering running for the United States Senate from Ohio. And to support his candidacy, he has his very own blog powered by Movable Type. While you’re there watching his infomerical, he wants you to sign an online petition encouraging him to run, as well as send a few bucks his way. Lord help us! Is this guy serious? Don’t answer that. I suppose if the State of Minnesota can elect Jesse “The Body” Ventura as Governor, it’s not too far fetched that Ohio might elect Jerry Springer as Senator. That’s if he decides to run of course.

Electing a debaucherous creep like that is either the fault of the voters or the fault of upstanding candidates not running against him. Either way you dice it, its the fault of the people when creeps get into office.
Of course, he may not be a creep but I know for sure that I would never vote for him. I hated his show.

If that is so, what a sad state of affairs we live in today.

Well yes, he is the former Cincinnati mayor, but how exactly do you explain away the years doing the “Jerry Springer Show.” Or the fact that he had to resign because he wrote paid a hooker with a check. Oh well! I suppose his popularity from that show will probably help him more than hurt him.

He was mayor in Ohio at that. I think he had a pretty good record.
