    Netflix is the best! I do the five at once deal and allow my children to have one at a time and my wife to have one. She is very slow to watch movies but I easily go through 3-5 discs per week. The best thing is the selection of TV shows that I missed when they were run because it was never convenient to watch them on the specified night and time. A distribution center is near me so I get replacements two days after putting a disc in my mailbox. Another big plus is they mail out Tuesday’s new releases on Monday, so if you time your returns right, you’ll have the new releases in your mailbox on the day they are released (assuming you’re not far from a dist. center). Netflix rules!

    I’ve been a Netflix subscriber for quite some time and can say that it has become an addiction. I’ve also tried greencine and just recently, blockbuster.
    When I moved to Maui, the distance to any relevant distribution center made the decision for me. Only Netflix can still deliver a DVD is sent and received in three days. Usually two.
    Netflix is the way to go…

    I belonged to netflix for some time but couldn’t justify the cost anymore–you sit on 2 movies for a month and the cost analysis is horribly skewed. With Blockbuster’s new service of paying $25 for a couple movies at a time with no return dates–it’s a NO brainer! Netflix used to offer a service where you could click that the disk was ‘in the mail’ being returned and they’d automatically ship your next one out. This was much more worthwhile than waiting 5 days minimum btwn shipping times, there and back that is. The best thing going about them still is their selection–many more esoteric things. All in all, I’ve stuck to Blockbuster and survived!

    I used Netflix until last month, when I switched to Greencine. I think I’ll be switching back. I live near a Netflix distribution center, so the wait for DVD’s was two days, tops, for me. It does cost a lot, but if you watch a lot of movies, like I do, the cash saved on late fees will make the cost worth it.

    Netflix is awesome. But the busier I get, the harder I find it to justify spending 22 bucks a month, every month. Try it for free and see if you like it. If not, cancel and go to Blockbuster.

    I used Netflix for a while and LOVED it. I loved making a list of movies I wanted to see. Also it was great to not have late charges. I ended up canceling to save money and now I miss it so much!

    I really liked netflix when I was using them, but what I found is that I rarely got through enough movies in a month to justify the cost (as opposed to just going to the store and renting the same number of movies).

    I am a huge fan of Netflix. They are really speedy and, since you can have three movies at one time, I make sure to set up my queue to provide me with three very different movies. Every once in a while we have trouble with a disc. If you return it with a note about the problem, they’ll have a new copy out to you quickly. That has only happened two or three times in the year and couple of months we’ve had the service. As someone who paid many, many dollars in late fees, Netflix has been a fantastic bargain.

    That depends on your patience level. Me, when I get the bug to rent a movie, it’s not because I just know that in a couple of days I’ll want to watch it. I have no problem walking 7 or 8 blocks when I’ve got the movie bug.
    Now, give me an online service that partners with a pizza place, let me order the movie and have it delivered in an hour with my pizza…now you’ve got a customer for life.
