Project Springboard

Today my company launched a new corporate wide initiative called Project Springboard. Reason for this is that we have a fairly aggressive sales goal (40% over last year), so they want to make sure that everyone is doing everything they can to make it happen. Project will last 6 months. I really hope they don’t drive me crazy! I hate being micro managed.

LMAO. But no, no logo! Last Friday, the CEO emailed a video clip to everyone announcing the program. Earlier in the week we had seen management in the office making the video but we thought it was for Wall Street since they had all the professional equipment with teleprompter. Little did we know that it was for us.

Do they have a logo for Project Springboard? Even a bad piece of Microsoft clip art will do. Everybody needs a logo. I’m always amazed at how quickly TV news organizations not only name events, but create logos.

I wonder if they check with each other on this stuff. Like, does ABC dial up CNN and say, “Hey, we’re calling ours ‘The Same Saddam Damn Thing.’ Are you still calling yours ‘Sand in the Vaseline Jar’?”
