Parsing of the Words

I am finally able to watch President Bush on television for an extended period of time. For the longest, I just couldn’t listen or even look at him speak. After the situation in Florida, he lacked creditability in my eyes. Slowly but surely, I’ve come around. I don’t agree with most of his policies, but I can at least now listen to him speak. With that in mind, still thinking about one section from his State of the Union speech given earlier tonight:

“We are seeking all the facts — already the Kay report identified dozens of weapons of mass destruction-related program activities and significant amounts of equipment that Iraq concealed from the United Nations. Had we failed to act, the dictator’s weapons of mass destruction programs would continue to this day. Had we failed to act, Security Council resolutions on Iraq would have been revealed as empty threats, weakening the United Nations and encouraging defiance by dictators around the world. “

So I’m wondering, did we, or did we not find weapons of mass destruction? Inquiry minds want to know.

That quote is a) a bunch of crap b) a bunch of crap and c) a bunch of crap.
If the “president” has any conscious whatsoever, and the jury is still out on that one, he must stare into the mirror every morning and think to himself, “I can’t believe what I’m doing to the world.” Whether or not his lips move while he’s thinking is also a point of conjecture.

You are better than me…I still can’t watch that man on TV. Always makes me wonder what he’s hiding. Shady people aggrevate me and I think President Bush is shady.
