Kumbaya Lord. Kumbaya

Post placeholder image

I went to lunch @ Cafe Mambo with about 16 colleagues from work. As the festivities wound down, some of us started singing: “Kumbaya Lord.” Now I can’t get it out of my head.

Kumbaya Lord. Kumbaya. Kumbaya, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
Kumbaya Lord. Kumbaya. Kumbaya.
Somebody needs you Lord Kumbaya. Kumbaya, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
Somebody needs you Lord Kumbaya. Kumbaya.
Somebody’s praying Lord Kumbaya. Kumbaya, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
Somebody’s praying Lord Kumbaya. Kumbaya.
Oh-oh-oh-oh. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord.
Oh, Lord Kumbaya.
Oh, Lord. Lord Kumbaya.
I need a blessing Lord. Kumbaya. Kumbaya, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
I need a blessing Lord. Kumbaya. Kumbaya.
I need a miracle Kumbaya. Kumbaya, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
I need a miracle Kumbaya. Kumbaya.
Oh-oh-oh-oh. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord.
Oh, Lord Kumbaya.
Oh, Lord. Lord Kumbaya.

Well, I’ve had “Lyte as a Rock” stuck in my head all day so at least Kumbaya will be a change of pace.
I’m not sure that I’ll feel this is a good thing six hours from now when I’m still singing it, though…
