Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated. Things have just been rather hectic on the home and work front these past 30 days or so. Cool Home Inventory Product

If I wasn’t currently being frugal, I’d purchase a IntelliScannerâ„¢ Express. Thinking it would allow me to better catalog and keep track of my book collection which is currently being documented in an excel spreadsheet. It would also allow me to keep an updated inventory list of the other valuable items in my home. I’m sort of doing that using the home inventory portion of Microsoft Money, but since this feature is somewhat limited (which explains why I’m using excel for my books), I’d really prefer to use a more comprehensive robust product — particularly one such as IntellieScanner that […]

Building Your CD Collection

For those of you out there in Chicagoland who are trying to build your CD collection, thought I’d post this announcement. The independent retailer, Dusty Groove America, will host a Garage Sale on Saturday (April 24th) at the corporate headquarters, 1120 N Ashland. The company will sell thousands of CDs at $3 apiece and record albums for $1. The sale is being held in conjunction with Dusty Groove’s 8th birthday. Sale hours are 10am. to 5pm.
