I’m freaking out. Not only did I decide to wear my hair au natural tomorrow (the first time ever in over 20 years), but I found my first gray hair. I suppose it’s all downhill from here. Mon dieu! I’m only 32.
I am twenty-three and thirty percent gray. Everyone always comments, many people tell me to dye or cut it short. I just don’t give a shit anymore, and I think it is the easiest way to enjoy it. There are not very many hot, silver, young women that I see, but I’m representing the group.

Hi:
I just ordered the Melancor. I have no idea if it works or not. I do know that hair does not grow over night. Healthy hair grows about an half inch per month, so I am committed to using the product for at least two months.
I only paid $25.00 plus a couple dollars for shipping. Every two weeks, I also dye my hair and it is a pain. I will be happy to keep everyone informed. AS105120@yahoo.com
Before ordering the product, I called customer service and got no where. I also emailed them several days ago and have not recieved a response from them yet. Am I skeptical, yes I am, but I am willing to give it a try for several reasons. One, of course I want to stop dying my hair every two weeks. Also, there are many herbs on the market that are not FDA approved but they work!!! Just because something is not “govt” approved does not mean it does not work.
If it does not work, then I’ve lost $56.00 dollars at the most and will just keep dying my hair. This way, I will know for myself if the product does or doesn’t work.
If we can go to the moon, then there should be something availble for gray hair!!!
Carmen.

I’ve been “going” grey since 17, and it really started showing after 27 when I got married. I’m 42 now, and started coloring my hair after someone thought my son was my Grandson. I do it every 2 weeks, as my natural color is dark brown, and after 2 weeks, the silver really starts to show. I tried Grecian to “gradually” replace the grey, but it only made my hair a dirty grey and greasy looking. So, Loreal is the way to go!

I’ve spoken to friends who participated in Gary Null’s health program who gave me some interesting info. They said that a couple of people who followed this diet experienced a revitalization of their hair – i.e. turned from gray to its original color. It would seem that a diet that replenishes the body might “fix” the hair follicle. Gary Null has a few books out, but I’m looking for one that has an actual diet regimen rather than just recommendations. I also know that he has a support group that he organizes sometimes in NYC.

If this were a legitimate it would be all over the news. They are not even FDA approved. I would love to tell everyone of a product that works and none of us would have to be so depressed about having grey hair. I am just an everyday guy who was happy go lucky before my hair started going grey. I am only writing this stuff because of my personal experiences with melancor and other products. They got my hopes up only to come crashing down on me. Like I said I would answer anyones questions on Melancor if they want to email me. Please dont let these people rip others off. Any physician will tell you that they are a rip off.

I’ve tried the other stuff that is lead based and decided to skip the dangerous risk. I tried the melancor for a month and decided to get my money back and they credited my account very quick. Then I tried the coloring again, did not like the short term results. So I’m trying the melancor for a longer period of time, maybe it will work? I’m single, so I have to keep looking young!!!!

I have used the following products. Shen Min, hou shou wuu, cysteine, tyroseine, paba, biotin, multiple vitamins, cod liver oil pills, brewers yeast, yogourt and the biggest ripoff of them all Melancor. I would love to tell everyone that some of these products work because i know what u are going through. I have tried these products faithfully and i dont drink very often at all. I dont smoke. The truth of the matter is that these big organizations suck people into buying their products because they have no morals and they disreguard the feelings of people who feel hopeless. They dont care about how much people are hurting inside and how wishful people are. All they want is your money. I have been trying to contact melancor for about 18 to 20 weeks. All you can get is a line that sells products and nobody to answer and legitimate questions. When u email them they have a database of emails and they pick one and email you with it whether it answers your questions or not. After 14 weeks of calling the call centre I finally speaked to a supervisor named Eric who finally broke down and gave me the telephone number. I have been calling this telephone number in excess of 150 times in the last 2 weeks and what a surprise i cant get an answer. For those of you who dont believe me here is the number. 1-866-270-2922 and the person to ask for is shawn odonell. It took me approx. 14 weeks to get that number. I am very sorry to tell everyone that presently there is not a cure for grey hair right now but as i understand they are currently working on it. I share the same frustrations as everyone on here and I have many bad days over this. I really hope for everyones sake and mine that the cure is soon to come. I just thought that I would let everyone know that melancor is a ripoff so that an unethical company like them will not make money off of people and give them a false sense of hope. If anyone has any questions please contact me at rogerwaynee@hotmail.com. PS. Looking forward to hearing from you Tammy.

I don’t know, I am 28 and have lots of gray hair. My freaking beard is grey on the sides (I shave). I used to be very outgoing and used to date a lot, but ever since age 26 (when the first grey showed) I have become less outgoing and have started dating a lot less. Yeah, I hear a lot of bullshit on how grey hair makes a man look so much sexier et al… Where are the women who think that in real life? LOL Damn! Even some males ask me why I have so many greys? Like I prayed for them… Grrr! LOL I guess you and I are frustrated and just need to get high or something, becuase I am getting laid but don’t drink.
Ok…not to get morbid or anything…but my goal is 42….that’s the age at which my mother died. Once I reach that age, I’ll set another…but until then, 42 is the magic number!
Here’s the scoop on the grays U: They’re a sign of life. They mean you’re living and surviving all the shit the world throws at you. And you’ll get more the older you get.
Learn to love ’em now. If you don’t you’ll really be driving yourself crazy by the time you’re 50. Assuming that you make it 50. Assuming that you WANT to eventually turn 50. (I think you will and do.)
