I am twenty-three and thirty percent gray. Everyone always comments, many people tell me to dye or cut it short. I just don’t give a shit anymore, and I think it is the easiest way to enjoy it. There are not very many hot, silver, young women that I see, but I’m representing the group.

Don’t spend money on that product – it’s a total crap!!!

I’m 25 and I’m starting to get gray hair. I tried every product to reverse it but nothing worked so then I tried dying it and after doing so I find out I’m allergic to hair coloring products!!! Does anyone know what I can do??? Has anyone run into this problem??

  8. September 26, 2005 at 5:25 am

I just ordered the Melancor. I have no idea if it works or not. I do know that hair does not grow over night. Healthy hair grows about an half inch per month, so I am committed to using the product for at least two months.
I only paid $25.00 plus a couple dollars for shipping. Every two weeks, I also dye my hair and it is a pain. I will be happy to keep everyone informed. AS105120@yahoo.com
Before ordering the product, I called customer service and got no where. I also emailed them several days ago and have not recieved a response from them yet. Am I skeptical, yes I am, but I am willing to give it a try for several reasons. One, of course I want to stop dying my hair every two weeks. Also, there are many herbs on the market that are not FDA approved but they work!!! Just because something is not “govt” approved does not mean it does not work.
If it does not work, then I’ve lost $56.00 dollars at the most and will just keep dying my hair. This way, I will know for myself if the product does or doesn’t work.
If we can go to the moon, then there should be something availble for gray hair!!!

Anybody heard any new news recently on products for reversing grey hair?

  10. August 11, 2005 at 11:01 pm

I’ve been “going” grey since 17, and it really started showing after 27 when I got married. I’m 42 now, and started coloring my hair after someone thought my son was my Grandson. I do it every 2 weeks, as my natural color is dark brown, and after 2 weeks, the silver really starts to show. I tried Grecian to “gradually” replace the grey, but it only made my hair a dirty grey and greasy looking. So, Loreal is the way to go!

I’ve spoken to friends who participated in Gary Null’s health program who gave me some interesting info. They said that a couple of people who followed this diet experienced a revitalization of their hair – i.e. turned from gray to its original color. It would seem that a diet that replenishes the body might “fix” the hair follicle. Gary Null has a few books out, but I’m looking for one that has an actual diet regimen rather than just recommendations. I also know that he has a support group that he organizes sometimes in NYC.

If this were a legitimate it would be all over the news. They are not even FDA approved. I would love to tell everyone of a product that works and none of us would have to be so depressed about having grey hair. I am just an everyday guy who was happy go lucky before my hair started going grey. I am only writing this stuff because of my personal experiences with melancor and other products. They got my hopes up only to come crashing down on me. Like I said I would answer anyones questions on Melancor if they want to email me. Please dont let these people rip others off. Any physician will tell you that they are a rip off.

Did anyone try youthair before (http://www.nomoregray.com/)? As per their website, One should get results in one month…

  16. April 27, 2004 at 9:38 pm

Let me know how it’s going with melancor..I read about melancor and I want to give it a try, probably after you do….

  17. April 25, 2004 at 11:34 am

    David M.

I’m going for it anyway Roger. Did you get your money back and how long did you try the melancor?
I’ve tried the other stuff that is lead based and decided to skip the dangerous risk. I tried the melancor for a month and decided to get my money back and they credited my account very quick. Then I tried the coloring again, did not like the short term results. So I’m trying the melancor for a longer period of time, maybe it will work? I’m single, so I have to keep looking young!!!!

    Very Sorry.
Correction on that telephone number. 1-866-270-2920

  19. April 23, 2004 at 8:05 pm

I have used the following products. Shen Min, hou shou wuu, cysteine, tyroseine, paba, biotin, multiple vitamins, cod liver oil pills, brewers yeast, yogourt and the biggest ripoff of them all Melancor. I would love to tell everyone that some of these products work because i know what u are going through. I have tried these products faithfully and i dont drink very often at all. I dont smoke. The truth of the matter is that these big organizations suck people into buying their products because they have no morals and they disreguard the feelings of people who feel hopeless. They dont care about how much people are hurting inside and how wishful people are. All they want is your money. I have been trying to contact melancor for about 18 to 20 weeks. All you can get is a line that sells products and nobody to answer and legitimate questions. When u email them they have a database of emails and they pick one and email you with it whether it answers your questions or not. After 14 weeks of calling the call centre I finally speaked to a supervisor named Eric who finally broke down and gave me the telephone number. I have been calling this telephone number in excess of 150 times in the last 2 weeks and what a surprise i cant get an answer. For those of you who dont believe me here is the number. 1-866-270-2922 and the person to ask for is shawn odonell. It took me approx. 14 weeks to get that number. I am very sorry to tell everyone that presently there is not a cure for grey hair right now but as i understand they are currently working on it. I share the same frustrations as everyone on here and I have many bad days over this. I really hope for everyones sake and mine that the cure is soon to come. I just thought that I would let everyone know that melancor is a ripoff so that an unethical company like them will not make money off of people and give them a false sense of hope. If anyone has any questions please contact me at rogerwaynee@hotmail.com. PS. Looking forward to hearing from you Tammy.

  20. April 21, 2004 at 9:44 pm

    leave an email address

  21. April 21, 2004 at 9:43 pm

I have tried many different products. If you are interested in knowing what ones just give me an email and i will tell you every product. As for the posting of the person who got their money back. I cant get mine back. I have been trying now since forever and they will not answer my phone call. You may not believe doctors but the proof is in my hair. Melancor is truly a ripoff and gives vulnerable people a false sense of hope.

  22. April 20, 2004 at 8:29 pm

how to get rid of gray hair……
    shave it off.

  23. April 13, 2004 at 9:20 pm

Tammy I have tried the Ho Shu Wu herb, but have not seen any results, still have some full bottles if you want one?

  24. April 13, 2004 at 9:18 pm

I do not know why Roger was having a problem with the money back? I had no problem at all. I ordered again for 6 months at nogreyhair.com and will try it a little longer, and that is what they recommend.
And I do not every believe what doctors say anymore, because I asked a dentist one time if he could whiten my teeth and he said because of my age they could never be white again!! Sorry doctor, I have very white teeth now.

  25. April 12, 2004 at 7:48 pm

I’ve tried everything under the sun and have talked to many doctors about gray hair. The simple answer is there isn’t anything YET to reverse gray hair. The only easy way to get rid of gray hair is to dye it. Steve

  26. April 9, 2004 at 10:42 am

Roger, I am considering using Melancor, and saw your comment that they are a rip off. Have you tried anything else – I’m desperately looking for a solution to reverse my graying hair….I heard about a Chinese herb called Ho Shu Wu.

  27. April 5, 2004 at 11:19 am

I would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from melancor because they are a ripoff. I will gladly answer anyones questions. Email me if you have any.

  28. April 5, 2004 at 11:17 am

I have tried Melancor for 6 months and it does not work. My family physician said there is no active ingredients in it. They will not respond to my emails and they will not give me a telephone number to contact one of their physicians. I dont think that they even have any physicians. I think it is just people pretending to be physicians. I also tried for a refund and they will not give me a refund. I have tried several times to get my money back but they dont want to give it

  29. March 4, 2004 at 8:34 pm

    David M.

I’ve been using Melancor for about 2 months now, I do notice my hair is getting healthier, and the grey seems to be getting to be a darker grey. I guess this is how it is suppose to start working. The only way I tried it was the 1 year money back they had. Here is the site http://www.nogreyhair.com
I generally try it with the money back, and then if it does not work I will send it back, this way I don’t lose much, but the shipping.

  30. March 1, 2004 at 7:07 pm

I used Melancor for about a month, I did not see any change in that time? (maybe). But I was trying to find more info on it somewhere where other people have used it, none. So I called them back and asked for a refund, they did not ask for the bottle back, they just credited my card. It is pretty expensive also. $80 a bottle for 60 tablets. They use some ingrediant called Melancor, which I have not seen anywhere.

    Hi all,
can any one tell me if they have used melancor to get rid of grey hair ? I would love to know if it is for real and if it works.
    Many thanks

    Simple Guy

I don’t know, I am 28 and have lots of gray hair. My freaking beard is grey on the sides (I shave). I used to be very outgoing and used to date a lot, but ever since age 26 (when the first grey showed) I have become less outgoing and have started dating a lot less. Yeah, I hear a lot of bullshit on how grey hair makes a man look so much sexier et al… Where are the women who think that in real life? LOL Damn! Even some males ask me why I have so many greys? Like I prayed for them… Grrr! LOL I guess you and I are frustrated and just need to get high or something, becuase I am getting laid but don’t drink.

  35. April 19, 2003 at 5:13 pm

Ok…not to get morbid or anything…but my goal is 42….that’s the age at which my mother died. Once I reach that age, I’ll set another…but until then, 42 is the magic number!

  36. April 17, 2003 at 5:58 pm

Here’s the scoop on the grays U: They’re a sign of life. They mean you’re living and surviving all the shit the world throws at you. And you’ll get more the older you get.
Learn to love ’em now. If you don’t you’ll really be driving yourself crazy by the time you’re 50. Assuming that you make it 50. Assuming that you WANT to eventually turn 50. (I think you will and do.)
Start looking forward to yourself now honey!

  37. April 14, 2003 at 3:55 pm

I had grey hairs at 18. Then I dyed them and they went away. Then I stopped dyeing my hair and they didn’t come back. Weird.

  38. April 14, 2003 at 3:26 pm

Congrats on wearing your hair natural — did you transitition from wearing a relaxer? I have been natural 5 years and only last July did I start to wear my own hair, sans braid extensions, after much encouragement from my hubby. I bet you looked great! I would love to see some pics!

  39. April 14, 2003 at 12:47 pm

Hey, at least you still *have* hair!

  40. April 14, 2003 at 8:59 am

Amit: Don’t make fun of me. This is serious!!!! 🙂 Men get gray hair and they look distinguished. Women get gray hair and they (we) look old.

  41. April 14, 2003 at 7:01 am

I found my first grey hair about a year ago at the grand old age of 24. Right in the top of my head, and it insisted on sticking up so that everyone would notice and remark on it. I used to pluck it out, but it would always grow back, and it brought along a couple of friends, so I just gave up.

  42. April 13, 2003 at 11:54 pm

Eeeeek! I suppose you better quickly make out your will….being 32 and all! 🙂
