Embarrassing Tidbit

I don’t know how to ride a bike. There I said it. Yet another embarrassing secret let out of the bag. I’m thinking about this as the Fraiser and Niles characters from Frasier don’t know either. Unlike them, I never tried to learn. We couldn’t afford one so I never got a chance to try. Then as we got older, I was too embarrassed to admit never having gone through this childhood right of passage. Now I know I’d be too afraid of falling off to try. It’s another reason why I don’t roller blade. Goodness! I feel like a wimp!

How odd! We have something else in common – we share the same birthday, both have tempermental orange tabbies (yours is much prettier though) and neither of us know how to ride a bike (for the same damn reason!).
I just like to screw with people when they say “it’s just like riding a bike” – I say “but I don’t know how to ride a bike, what do you mean?” hehe… it’s funny to me.

hahahaha… I don’t know how to ride a bike, either. I was not encouraged to learn because we lived on the main road and my parents were worried about our safety. So me & my sis never did learn. :p
