A reminder to self: never ever take a job or consultancy project just for money. Make sure that there is a genuine connection to the people and the company. Thus be sure to thoroughly research the industry, competitors and the product or services to really assess whether or not you have it within you to be passionate about what you will need to promote, as without that, it will be extremely difficult to enjoy your time with the company. Not just during any difficult periods but even when success comes your way, as it all will be hollow because well, your heart just isn’t into it.
