Choo-Choo on Strike

Post placeholder image

Choo-Choo has informed me (yes I speak Cat-ish) that he is on strike. From doing what I have no idea since all he does is sleep, eat, poo and run around chasing his own tail. In any event, said strike will continue until I go out and get his favorite treats — Pounce. If I do not, he will continue his non stop meowing to annoy the heck out of me. This will remain at a high pitch particularly when I’m trying to sleep. Can you believe this? Spoiled beyond belief. Oh, what was I thinking when I adopted him. Crazy cat!

Choo-Choo is totally addicted. He follows me around the house meowing for Pounce. Plus every time I go to the kitchen he jumps on table where Pounce is kept and meows until I give him what he wants. He’s even known to try and wake me up in morning, by scratching my eyes out (thankfully he’s declawed) so I can get his morning treat. If ever he is lost in the apartment, all I have to do is shake a bag and he comes running.

Luckily mine have never had Pounce, at least not that I know of since they are all adopted strays. Is it really that great? I thought I was going to get a bust created in my honor out of hairballs when I bought Catnip in a Bottle. Do I need to run to the store now? How addictive is it? I have a few cats (I use the word few loosely), so if I ever run out will I need to worry about my safety?

OMG, Urs, I think there must be some kind of kitty labor union that we don’t even know about. My household, too, is out of Pounce (and most human food, too, but that’s another matter) and Ernie seriously is doing nothing but walking around meowing pitifully. He woke me up three times during the night doing it. At this point, if I had $5 I’d buy the Pounce over food for myself just so he’d leave me alone!

My kitty that I used to own LOVED Pounce!
