Lacing Up

I’m on the verge of sabotaging everything with Racquetball guy. Not intentionally, but it’s just working out that way. In many ways he’s perfect but there are a few things about him that annoy me. Nothing major that should really cause me to run — but I’m feeling that way. I’m not use to all this attention.

  1. Whenever two lives collide romantically, there’s bound to be friction. You’ve just got to figure out if this show stopping friction.
    Hang in there.

  2. Ditto Dragon. You have to decided what annoying habits you can live with, and what habits you can’t.
My last bf had an ass-clinchingly annoying habit of biting the fork everytime he put it in his mouth. I could barely stand it. I brought it to his attention that it wasn’t proper ettiquette (because he thought himself to be high fa-lootin’). We got into debates about it. He pulled out his emily post books, called his mother…couldn’t find anything about his habit. Pulled out responses to my letters to the editor, called my mother…all saying that his habit was fucked up. He tried to correct his behavior, but it was hard for him. Finally, I decided to let it go. Because my love for him and all the good things about him wasn’t worth the drama his bad habit was causing.
