The Nominees

Nightline is broadcasting much of the debate between the 9 Democratic candidates. Based on what I already know plus their performances tonight, I’m not impressed with any of them. It’s sad to say, but I just don’t think any of them would beat George Bush were the elections held tomorrow. Yes, even Governor Dean. He may have the most money and momentum right now, but I am of the opinion that his candidacy is wrong for the Democratic Party. But hey, what do I know. Former VP Al Gore endorsed him today, so maybe he knows something I don’t.

  1. i dunno abou that ursula. if gore new something more than us, he’d probably be pres. right now.

  2. well, considering Gore *was* elected prez, i trust him. but, i don’t trust Bush, and the repubs want Dean to take the nomination, just to beat him silly…but, hey, maybe Dean will be elected by the people, and Jeb can fix the voting AGAiN & have his brother sit for another 4 more disastous years. ah, politics. we lose Simon & it just goes to show how corrupt the rest of them are.

  3. doesn’t really matter who you trust. as it stands right now, none of the democrats who have thrown their hats in the ring have the ability to beat bush. democrats so far have made a mockery of this entir process. they needed to be cohesive and concentrate on one person instead of every tom and dick gephardt throwing their names into the ring. so far this is a joke.

  4. hey ursula i came across this quiz that goes along with your post. it’s supposed to determine which of the demo candidates match your ideals.

  5. Thanks for the link. I actually took this quiz sometime ago. Here are my results:
