when the superbowl happened i had my doubts that it was an accident.. but for people who think it was done on purpous.. if u look clostly at the part when rythem nation is playing and janet is dancing.. you see one of her dancers reach for her boob.. and then janet throws her down when janet does a spin you can see when she grabbed janets boob it ripped the costume right by her breast… and then at the end when the red bra was suppose to stay intact it came undone cuz the rest of her cup was already rippped.. after seeing the footage i belive it truly was an accident.. if anyone finds this interesting email me and i will see if i can get the clip online…

people think that it was Janets and or Justins fault it was probably just a way to sell more things. thats what a lot of people think anyway I think it is all stupid stuff.

  3. March 10, 2004 at 2:48 pm

Its not Janets fault and everyone knows it Justin pulled her top to hard and probaly did it on purpose, they were going out you know! Janet shouldn’t be punished Justin should! I would clock on him if that happened to me and you couldn’t sang me a sorry song! I’ll show what a black women is!

  4. February 11, 2004 at 6:49 pm

Was that Janet thing on purpose?? If it was someone should be sewed…

  5. February 10, 2004 at 9:22 pm

Janet is just like her brothers always looking for attention. and will go to any lenght to get it just like Micheal. Justin was a bistander

  6. February 10, 2004 at 8:02 pm

UM is it me or didnt CBS show a Victoria Secret special a few months ago with women half naked but no one complained then. Janet shows a little breast and half of the US goes crazy. Has anyone seen primetime television lately? Sex is everywhere, t.v., magazines, billboards, movies, anywhere you go there it is shoved in your face. If anyone thinks they can keep their children from it they are nuts. And to go so overboard about a womens breast, sorry I just don’t get it. I do think if Janet was banned from the grammys Justin should have been also, he’s the one who toar of the clothing, but I guess they didn’t look at it that way since it wasn’t his breast.

  7. February 10, 2004 at 3:40 pm

  8. February 10, 2004 at 12:22 pm

Look, everybody is complaining and bitching about seeing a breast…..how many of you as kids walked in on your parents, in the bathroom, or your sister and saw her naked yeah it was an embarrasing situation but you got over it. people are talking about lets fine justin lets fine Janet…..look well then we need to fine Sex in the City, and damn near every other tV show on HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax……a breast is a breast. Get over find something else to bitch and complain about it wasn’t your boob so why feel offended…….yeah some people out there didn’t want to see it but honestly how many women out there really watch football, and pay attention to whats going on in the field…..all guys want is to see the game and beer commercials with hot chicks…….thata all……guys aren’t complaining about Prince and his pants that show his ass…..or Micheal Jackson grabbing his crotch on stage, but once a woman exposes her breast all hell breaks loose……everyone needs to shut the fuck up and mind there own fucking buisness.

  9. February 10, 2004 at 8:33 am

Yes of course it could have been worse, but it is un-called for and innapropriate for children to see. YES KIDS SAW IT!!! THEY AREN”T BLIND YOU KNOW!!!! If very few people saw it then there wouldn’t be an uproar like this. Think about for all you dead brain people who say that it was ok. You are just sick people who enjoyed looking at their tits!!! Grow up face reality. And think, Look what the rich and famous get away with. If ordinary people were just broadcasting a something on CBS, not rich not famous, we would be sewed and maybe spend jail time!!!!!!!! Either way, they should get in trouble.

  10. February 9, 2004 at 4:08 pm

All this disgust at seeing Jackson’s boob for a millisecond and no one is complaining about the fact that we are exposed to about 50 cheerleaders’ cleavage for the entire game? Strange…

  11. February 9, 2004 at 2:10 pm

I think what they did at the Halftime show was tasteless and degrading

  12. February 9, 2004 at 11:42 am

I am a football fan,I say forget the halftime
stupid fest and let the anylist talk about the
game.Put a college band on the field while they
braek down the game, then get back to the game.
I would like to say that if kid rock wants to
earn the right to even look at the flag he needs
to buy some phone time for the troops overseas
and meet some soldiers and learn who is really
    a badass. AIRBORNE,ALL THE WAY !

  13. February 9, 2004 at 3:19 am

Ya people need to get a life and grow up. why is it inmoral? A boob o my god this is so stupid, everyday breafeading moms are out there with there boobs out feeding the childre, what about National Geo mgazine I seen enough boobs in it. We need to start realizing that boobs are part of the body, I live in a country that those issues are not important, hey i see boobs in the billboards, yuo dont see them complaining. But heyyy we americans have to is our duty, is like we don not have anything better to do with our lifes. Moralists are lame, they talk all this crap but what dont you get undressed and have sex just as we do? stop pointing fingers. Children need to grow up, if you teach your children at an early stage about their bodies maybe they will not wander around the park discovering what is that in your pants!!

  14. February 9, 2004 at 2:23 am

I agree with nameless. Yes, morality is at issue in this country. However, why did it take a publicity stunt for us to acknowledge it? Perhaps we should be at least as offended at the treatment of our flag. We would be mortified and outraged if the act of wearing our flag and tossing it aside occured on a stage in any other country. Why are there young men and women fighting for our country when we can sit in our comfotable homes and condone such behavior?

  15. February 8, 2004 at 9:57 pm

I just want to say that I do not think that it was a bad halftime show. I really enjoyed it, I can not remember the last time I can tell you that the Superbowl has been about hip hop and r and b. Now with the Janet situation, it was so quick and I did not see anything and being a mother myself of a 6 year old, I was not offended. I just think next time she will need to put a little more thought in to her routine. She has apologized so let’s let it go people. Is it because she is a Jackson?

  16. February 8, 2004 at 12:37 pm

I don’t see how any part of this show was good, including Kid Rock’s performance. And, even though I didn’t approve of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s stunt, I think the disrespect of the american flag during the show was the worst! (Which Kid Rock had a hand in!)

  17. February 8, 2004 at 10:45 am

All I can say is. “Roof Roof” “Growl Growl”

  18. February 7, 2004 at 3:37 pm

God people in america are such babys as if there is something wrong with janets nipple being exposed.its not wrong and they took the camera off it in 1/2 of a sec.britney and modannas kiss was way worse.a old women and a slut.eww.some women who spoke out against it are babies .just cuz you dont look as good as her doesnt mean that you can critisize her.she was obviously in shock and she should not be fined .some people liked to see her boob.and if you are sooo worried about your children then dont let them stare. people i no actually liked it and i think you have no right to say anything about it.so next time there is a half show on mtv(which i love)or produced by mtv you shouldnt watch it.pick up your controler and change the channel to little franklin or something with no exposure to the human body.and people who dont care about what had happened you guys are cool cuz it was no big deal and it probly wasnt planned.and judy a half time show will not ruin our lives.and puting a frog in boiling water has nothing to do about anything.that expresion has nothing to do with your statement.and dont try to act smart.cuz you are not.thanks to all those people who agree with me that it is not a big deal!!!!!

  19. February 7, 2004 at 2:11 pm

i thought that it was the worst halftime show ever. young kids watch that show and i dont want them seeing it i agree with Rae this world is not based on sex! i used to love justin and now i think that he should and be fined!

  20. February 7, 2004 at 2:02 pm

I’ve been waiting for years to see Janet’s Boob, thanks Justin!

  21. February 7, 2004 at 1:38 pm

I think that there is not a problem with the exposure of a women’s breast. But there is a time and a place for such events. The superbowl halftime show is not one of them. When you have little children’s eyes glued to the tv for entertainment and they witness two people that they admire pulling one anothers clothes off there is a serious problem. After all, it is the children that we want to proctect.

  22. February 7, 2004 at 1:36 pm

he is so cute i love him

  23. February 7, 2004 at 12:10 am

You would have to be REALLY immature to go crazy, regardless of age, over a woman’s boob on tv. We’re the same country that argues that women should have the same rights as men, right? Yet it’s perfectly fine for us dudes to walk with our shirts off, but a woman is considered “indecent” for doing the same? Why, I repeat, WHY, is it a big deal for anyone to see Janet’s one nipple on tv, yet it’s not a big deal that a man ran on the field wearing nothing but a G-string (which was kinda funny). I bet if there was a woman, who wore nothing but a string, ran on the field at the same time as him, there would have been a world of immature disgust, complaints, and lawsuits on her.

    Ursula's Not So Secret History

    Wardrobe Malfunction

Until today, I have not talked about Janet Jackson exposing her breast to the world during the half-time show at

  25. February 6, 2004 at 12:59 pm

People who don’t understand what the uproar is all about over Janet Jackson would fit right in with other nations who are no more because they looked the other way or gave consent to the widespread immorality around them. This nation is on the brink of that type of implosion. We don’t need another nation to destroy us–we will destroy ourselves. But those of you who never studied history are doomed to repeat it. Why do so many people think this incident is not so bad? Why do they think it is all right because “there are worse things?” These are people who have been lulled into a deep sleep–who think we can do anything we want and still survive as a people. Put a frog in boiling water and he’ll jump right out. Put it in cool water and slowly heat it, however, and you can boil him to death. Little by little we accept what was once unacceptable until everything is acceptable. And that will be our demise, and it’s not that far away. “We have met the enemy–and it is we.”

  26. February 3, 2004 at 12:27 pm

I really don’t understand what all the hoopla’s about. Soooo what if part of Janet Jackson’s boob showed? Hellooooo?? We watch the Oscars and the Grammy on T.V. where you can see people with hardly any clothes on. What’s the big deal?? I’ve seen worse at the beach. Americans always gotta fuss about the silliest things.

  27. February 3, 2004 at 10:30 am

I think it was an attentio seeking stunt that
we didn’t need or care to see. It’s a shame they
are both so insecure that they have to do that to
    be noticed

  28. February 3, 2004 at 10:15 am

I was at church so I didn’t see it. and I am glad. we have enough crap on TV as is, and I dont think we need to be bringing on more and more. today it is a boob, what will we see tomorrow. if we dont speak out now it will just keep geitng worse. “like we havent seen that already”. so to those who think it was alright, think about what your kids are doing, or are going to do. oh, by the way, I am a 34 yr old Youth Pastor and I see this kind of stuff killing our Youth.

  29. February 2, 2004 at 10:05 pm

Well I watched it last night, and I thought it was pretty awsome that they both had that much courage to do something like that. That takes a lot of balls to do. Good Job~!

  30. February 2, 2004 at 5:34 pm

I don’t think the point is wheter it could have been worse or not, the point is we don’t need to see janet jackson’s boob. I don’t need to, you don’t need to, and neither does Justin Timberlake. If you really truely believe that it was an “Accident” then you are pitfully gullable. Just as Britney kissed Madonna, Justin revealed Janet’s boob. It is just another stupid publicity stunt, but this time I’m not laughing.

  31. February 2, 2004 at 5:13 pm

    the smarter one

i think u all should get a grip , it could have been worse , would u have wrather had ur kids see a suicide plane crash and kill people , so think about it , it could have been worse …..

  32. February 2, 2004 at 5:04 pm

    joe joe

what about nthem boob shots at half time lol

  33. February 2, 2004 at 3:08 pm

  34. February 2, 2004 at 3:06 pm

justin shouldent have done what he did and i dont appreciate what he did it was wrong time to pull of part of her costume and show here boob

  35. February 2, 2004 at 2:32 pm

its not that big of a deal gosh.. it was like for a half a second.. people didnt even know if it was real! lol.. Like a kid would notice a boob in a half a second? relax people.. It was pretty funny though.. lol.. she looked really surprised..

  36. February 2, 2004 at 2:05 pm

OMG soooo what janet showed her boob…its not like u have never seen one before and if u havn’t well 2 bad..they didn’t even show the hole boob she had a pastie on and she was shocked it wasn’t planed so stop saying they need 2 FINE her OMG get over it!! and the halftime show was hott nelly and p diddy hmmm were is gunit?

  37. February 2, 2004 at 1:01 pm

Last night’s superbowl halftime show was horrible! Not only was the music and dancing offensive but Justin’s action of ripping Janet’s top and saying “its a malfunction” was just plan uncalled for!!! What happened to stuff like last yrs show?

  38. February 2, 2004 at 12:42 pm

With the single exception of Kid rock, that was the worse superbowl halftime I have ever seen. The rest of the performers and the songs “sang”? were pure trash. Is this the best the NFL can do to entertain the country and the world…I have always looked forward to the halftime shows and great performances, but MTV has nothing but crap on it’s station, so why should we expect any better at halftime.

  39. February 2, 2004 at 10:28 am

I want to know where you can buy one of those pasties

  40. February 2, 2004 at 8:55 am

Only in America showing one’s boobs is considered a transgression, immoral, etc. Why is it okay to show violence but not the human body. We should all grow up and stop hiding behind our clothes.

  41. February 2, 2004 at 7:34 am

What’s the big deal? You see more breast than that on most pop-up ads! I think the show was great and not just because Janet showed her boobs.

  42. February 2, 2004 at 7:14 am

Come on guys lighten up,She hade a pastie on and the TV audience only saw a split second of that!
There are worse things to be worried about in this world than a BooB on TV, Get a grip. 🙂

  43. February 2, 2004 at 1:55 am

When will anyone finally confess that Aerosmith is out of gas?
And Janet Jackson…again? I would like to see the pulled down top though.
As for bringing charges against the doer of the deed…I think the only charges that should be brought up are for impersonation of good halftime entertainment.

  44. February 2, 2004 at 1:53 am

I saw it too. Jutin pulled off one side of Janet’s top. Her breast was exposed, except she appeared to be wearing a silver pastie over her nipple.
I just can’t believe with all the trouble Britney has gotten herself into lately, that Justin would even try something like that, in front of the largest TV audience imaginable. It’s family audience too. According to the news this evening, CBS New York is receiving a lot of complaints over it.

  46. February 1, 2004 at 11:01 pm

My 14 yr old sn saw it & my husband did also. They should charge Justin timberlake! It is a Sexual Offense especially to do it on National TV. I wont support his music anymore!

  47. February 1, 2004 at 10:50 pm

the people at the show saw but is swear the peole at home missed it. so no need for a fine . Nothing worse then anything else on tv.

  48. February 1, 2004 at 8:23 pm

I agree with janice, the exposure of janet’s nipple was uncalled for many parents take their young kids to watch that game live, this world is not based on sex, and for the young and old, and family types this was nothing but an insult, overall i hought that it was a dull show ended by a discusting act….

  49. February 1, 2004 at 8:11 pm

I saw Justin pull off Janet’s costume and expose a pierced right boob. She had a surprised look on her face. I can’t believe CBS didn’t acknowlegde it. They, Juston and Janet, both ought to be fined.
Overall the entire half time show was horrible. All I think about is my parents’ having to watch all that crap!

  50. February 1, 2004 at 7:48 pm

did justin timberlake pull off Janet jackson shirt and expose her boob?

  51. January 28, 2003 at 8:54 pm

You mean second best damn band in the land. MICHIGAN is Number 1!!!

  52. January 28, 2003 at 10:31 am

I agree…although I’d vote for OSU’s “The Best Damn Band in the Land.” Go Bucks!

  53. January 26, 2003 at 5:46 pm

    Leigh Hanlon

Wasn’t Justin Timberlake available? He’s been all over every magazine cover lately. America just can’t get enough of him!
