I was a great show and will live long in reruns and on DVD, but the show hasn't been the same since Aaron Sorkin left and I don't think the writers, producers et al had the stomach for either a Republican administration or taking the heat for having a another Democrat--too much of a fantasy world. I always thought it would have been an interesting excercise to have the show shift 180 degrees on its axis and become GOP dominated, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
