Awkward Stage

I am in a really awkward stage. I am no longer running around trying to get set up in my new city. My things are here from America and for the most part, my apartment is all sorted. This means I have lots of time on my hands in the evenings and on weekends. However, my social calendar is somewhat bear as I don't know that many people outside work. Sure I have family here but they live about an hour or two away from London, so that is not really helping. And as it is more difficult to meet people that I am compatible with for friendship, I find myself lounging about in front of the television most nights. So I am feeling a bit lonely. However, I am by no means regretting my decision to move here. I like London a lot. But I just can't wait to get to the stage where I know more people. Staying home along or even going out and doing things by myself feels a bit lonely.
