Now here is a book I need to buy for my friend (she's early 40s) who last January set a goal for herself to be married by end of year. Then again, maybe I should buy it for myself. Recently I've started to talk more about wanting to date, yet I never seem to meet anyone worth dating. So maybe I too could learn a thing or two from this book.

Btw, I know a woman doesn't need to have a man in her life to be happy. But I'd like to have children someday and I'd like to do that with a husband I love and adore who feels the same way about me.
Well, this is from a guy not a girl, and I was in my late 20s at the time, but when I got frustrated with the people I was meeting at work, after work, and around Philadelphia I went to graduate school.
Universities are chock full of smart interesting people. Many of them are single. Many are also prima donnas, but there are always jerks.
So think about what things interest you, look at the one or two schools in Greater Chicago, and find a lecture series to start attending. It would be a lot cheaper than quitting your job and going to grad school, and even if you don't find Mr. Right, Mr. Good Enough, or Mr. Flirtation you still might enjoy the lecture.
