Jane's

Jane's is a FABULOUS restaurant. Located in a coach house in Bucktown, it has great atmosphere and an excellent assortment of dishes to choose from. The salad I tried was just superb. It had mesclun greens with pear slices, bleu cheese and pecans tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. Yummy! For entree, I had the tuna which was just divine. As such, I could definitely see myself going back as it would be a great place to go on a date. Plus you can follow up the evening like we did by stopping at Leopard Lounge which has live jazz on Tuesday nights and is known for their assortment of martinis. Btw, since Jane’s only seats 35 people, if any of you in blogland were to go based on my recommendation, I’d advice calling ahead and making a reservation. Things were quite busy tonight so I can only imagine what it would be like on a Friday/Saturday night.
