It's movie night at work tonight. We'll be watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Hey, what else to do with the huge plasma screen that management installed. Since I've already seen this movie, I won't be staying long, I've got book club tonight. We're discussing The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay which I didn't finish. I just couldn't get into the story.

"Amazing Adventures..." had greater cover art and I was prompted to pull it from the shelf at Borders a few months back and flip through it. But nothing jumped out at me, either, so I didn't buy it.
Man I loved that book! It totally sucked me in, and I lived in it's world on and off for a week. My wife wasn't into it al all though. I passed it to my dad and he loved it as much as I did. My Mom started it and then decided it was boring. You just never know...
I'm sorry you didn't get into Kavalier & Clay. It does start a little slow, but it's my favorite book of the last couple of years.
After the discussion last night, I think I'm going to give it another try. It was a really slow start but it sounds like it might be worth it to keep going...
