Loneliness

I’ve been thinking about writing a post on loneliness for some time, but I just can’t find the words. Perhaps because I’m surrounded by so many people that it seems weird to confess that I’m lonely. I fall at the feet of Tim Berners-Lee who is credited with inventing the World Wide Web because his marvellous creation has offered unlimited opportunities to learn from some of the best and brightest via sites like TED: Technology, Entertainment, Design. This site is all about spreading ideas – from the oh so serious to the downright quirky! Today I visited looking to watch a talk by Simon Sinek on inspirational leadership but got totally side-tracked by Mary Roach’s 10 things you didn’t know about orgasm. And so instead of thinking, if only I had XYZ, I need to look closer at what I have and think of how they can be used differently.
