Facebook, an online social network for high school and college students recently turned down a $750Million offer for the site. With 7.5Million member, they are apparently holding out for $2Billion. Since these numbers are astronomical, I joined to see what all the fuss was about. There are lots of people in the database from the University of Michigan, but most are current students or recent graduates — only 10 were graduates from my year, the class of 1992. Don’t Spend Major Time With Minor People

London in a Day

If planned properly, it is possible to see a good deal of London in a day. This I proved to a colleague who was visiting from Chicago. She had been here for almost a week and except for a bus tour, she really hadn’t spent much time exploring my new home city. As such, I told her I would show her around.
