The Long Goodbye

So despite the best of intentions, it’s been another few months since I’ve posted here. So what’s new? Well work is quite busy. In fact, it’s really stressful and there are many days I wonder what the heck I got myself into. Sometimes I feel like I’m back in the city which is definitely not what I had planned. There is so much pressure to deliver its unreal. So how long will I stick with it? In all honesty, I don’t know. To get myself through it all, I’ve set milestones but I really do just take each day as […]

Gone But Not Forgotten

I have a confession. Choo-Choo, my beloved cat who I adopted from The Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago is no longer with me. He hasn’t been with for nearly two years. So why have I not revealed this? Six Month Update

Goodness! Where has the time gone? It’s been six months since I’ve updated this blog which is not ideal since I’d really like to be consistent with documenting my personal history. In total, there are 250 of us who will be match day volunteers starting next February when Saracens moves into their new rugby stadium at Allianz Park. Our mission will be to help improve the spectator experience at Saracens home games through enhancing their family-orientated ethos. Thus, volunteers will be imbeded in all departments throughout the organization including: administration, advertising and promotions, community support, event production, hospitality, merchandise/retail, media, spectator services, ticketing and transportation. And the […]

London 2012 Games Makers Choir

The London 2012 Games Makers’ are one of the main reasons for the success of the games. They were on hand at all venues to answer questions, help spectators find their way around and direct spectators to their seat. They were quite easy to spot with their snazzy, brightly coloured uniforms. Anyway, as part of the continuing legacy some of them have gotten together and formed a choir. Furthermore, they have released a charity song with recording artiste Alistair Griffin. Backed by the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, the song titled I Wish For You The World is “a dynamic, […]
