Ursula Barzey is a franchise development, marketing and recruitment consultant. She perfected her marketing and business development skills during the 15+ years she spent working for several global firms.

Ursula began her professional career with LexisNexis in Chicago where she was continually recognised for consistently exceeding account management and monthly new business goals.

She then went on to work for Ineum Consulting (part of Management Consulting Group Plc, who is listed on the London Stock Exchange) in Chicago and London where she held a number of business development and marketing management positions. While at Ineum Consulting, her efforts were instrumental in securing £15+million in new business.

In 2008, Ursula joined a North American franchise consultancy that was seeking to launch in Europe. Based in Bromley, Kent along with 5years of hands on experience in the UK, her focus then as now is helping people take control of their destiny by investing in the RIGHT franchise business. She educates franchisee candidates throughout the United Kingdom & Ireland on the franchise industry, what's needed to own a franchise, how to choose the right one, and then prepares them to land the one they want. As a Franchisee herself, Ursula understands what is at stake both personally and financially to launch and run a successful franchise business.

In addition to franchise recruitment, Ursula is leveraging her consulting, business development and marketing expertise by working with several partners to provide franchise development and marketing services. Ursula's cross-border knowledge of the UK and US markets has been particularly beneficial to US franchisors seeking to break into the European market.

Education:
Ursula holds a Bachelors of Arts with High Honours from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and a Graduate Certificate in e-Business/Marketing Strategy from the University of Chicago Graham School of General Studies.

Favourite Pastimes:
Ursula enjoys travelling to exotic new places, nordic walking, reading good books, hanging out with family and friends, blogging (long before it was main-stream), playing scrabble and being servant to her very high maintenance but adorable cat: Choo-Choo.
