The London 2012 Games Makers’ are one of the main reasons for the success of the games. They were on hand at all venues to answer questions, help spectators find their way around and direct spectators to their seat. They were quite easy to spot with their snazzy, brightly coloured uniforms.
Anyway, as part of the continuing legacy some of them have gotten together and formed a choir. Furthermore, they have released a charity song with recording artiste Alistair Griffin. Backed by the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, the song titled I Wish For You The World is “a dynamic, emotional retrospective celebration of one of Britain’s brightest ever years – from the Diamond Jubilee to the Olympic opening and the amazing pride Britain felt as we landed medal upon medal during the Games themselves.”
So here’s hoping it makes it to the top of the Christmas charts as any funds raised will benefit Olympian and Paralympian charities.
